KAFD Website Image Audit and Optimization

Conducted a full image SEO and accessibility audit for King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). Using a custom Python scraper, extracted image URLs, file sizes, and existing alt text, auditing 1,535 assets across the site.
Classified images into two key categories: missing or weak alt text and files exceeding 100 KB. Performed page-level keyword research and rewrote English and Arabic alt text to improve screen-reader accessibility and image search relevance without keyword stuffing.
Batch-converted large assets to WebP to reduce payload while maintaining visual quality. Final deliverables included a complete inventory CSV, implementation sheet with optimized alt text, and a replacement set of compressed images, targeting faster LCP and improved organic visibility.
